Abstract: The Parallel Library routines assist in writing a parallel application by implementing many of the functions commonly required for parallelism. These functions include establishing shared data and executable code regions, creating and deleting subprocesses and implementing barrier synchronizations and critical sections. Included in the kit is a sample parallel program whose comments describe many of the standard parallelism concepts and suggested VAX/VMS solutions.
