Abstract: BOPT program used especially for space truss structures, but it is applicable for any kind of statistical and dynamical analysis. Before applying statistical analysis, program reduces stiffness matrix band-width so the process time and memory requirements decreases significantly. The program changes joint numbers according to member connectivity to optimize the band-width of the stiffness matrix.
