DECUS Essential Tools Collection, 1996 for OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS VAX (VS0174)

This kit contains all the files necessary for installing the SET_PRCNAM
utility.  Requires VMS V5.0 or later.

SET_PRCNAM is designed to be invoked via a foreign command:

    $ SET_PRCNAM :== $disk:[directory]SET_PRCNAM.EXE

SET_PRCNAM lets you change the process name for another process on the
system.   It takes two parameters: the PID of the target process and
the new process name.  For example:

    $ set_prcnam 20201abd "Goat Busters"

The new process name must be quoted if you wish to maintain case or if
the name includes spaces or other characters handled specially by DCL.

SET_PRCNAM is written in BLISS. Complete sources are provided.
